How to Use ImTOO DVD to iPod Converter for Video Watching your favorite DVD movies on the go is easy when you convert them into an iPod-compatible format. The ImTOO DVD to iPod Converter is a dedicated tool designed to rip DVDs and convert them into high-quality MP4 videos optimized for your device.

This guide will walk you through the entire process, from loading your disc to transferring the finished video. Step 1: Load Your DVD Into the Software

To begin, insert the DVD you want to convert into your computer’s optical drive. Launch the ImTOO DVD Converter.

Click the Add File(s) button on the main toolbar, or navigate to File > Open DVD.

Select your DVD drive to load the movie contents. The software will display the DVD titles and chapters in the main list. Step 2: Select an iPod Video Output Profile

The software includes pre-configured profiles specifically tailored for different iPod models to ensure the video plays perfectly without manual tweaking.

Check the boxes next to the specific DVD titles or chapters you wish to convert.

Open the Profile drop-down menu at the bottom of the interface. Navigate to the iPod category.

Choose the appropriate video format (such as iPod Video MPEG-4 or iPod H.264 Video) based on your specific iPod generation and preferred resolution. Step 3: Choose Your Destination Folder

Before starting the conversion, you need to tell the software where to save your new video file.

Locate the Destination or Output field at the bottom of the screen. Click the Browse… button.

Select a folder on your computer (like your Desktop or Videos folder) where you can easily find the converted file. Step 4: Customize Audio and Subtitle Settings (Optional)

Many DVDs include multiple language tracks and subtitles. You can choose exactly which ones to keep. Click on the DVD title you want to modify in the file list.

Look at the right-hand settings panel or the columns next to the file name.

Use the Audio drop-down menu to select your preferred language track.

Use the Subtitle drop-down menu to either select a subtitle language or turn them off completely. Step 5: Start the Video Conversion

Once your settings are configured, you are ready to rip the DVD.

Click the large, circular Convert button (usually featuring two spinning arrows) on the top toolbar. Monitor the progress bar at the bottom of the interface.

Wait for the software to finish processing. A notification will pop up once the conversion is complete. Step 6: Transfer the Video to Your iPod

Now that you have an iPod-compatible MP4 file, you need to sync it to your device.

Open iTunes (or the Finder app if you are using a newer macOS version).

Drag and drop the converted video file from your destination folder into your iTunes Movie Library. Connect your iPod to your computer using its USB cable.

Select your iPod icon in iTunes, navigate to the Movies tab, check Sync Movies, and select your newly added video. Click Apply or Sync to transfer the video to your device.
